THE STORIES
Funny Pearls are excited to announce our first short story competition, open to women of all nationalities. We welcome stories between 500 and 3,000 words. Entries must be written in English and can be on any theme but should intend to bring a smile to the reader’s face (dark humour qualifies). Please submit only original, previously unpublished work.
THE PRIZES
The winner will receive Amazon gift cards to the value of £200; two runners-up will each receive Amazon gift cards to the value of £50. The gift cards will be delivered via email. All winning entries will be posted in a future issue of funnypearls.com.
THE DATES
The submission deadline is Friday 26th October 2018. Winners will be announced on Friday 30th November 2018.
THE SUBMISSION
Please submit your entry to [email protected] with the word COMPETITION and the title of your story in the subject line. Please use a legible font, insert a header with story title, and paginate your document. Read the full competition rules below.
