Dear readers, contributors and friends,

As a new year begins, we want to thank you for your continued support of Funny Pearls. We are delighted and encouraged by your positive feedback and enthusiasm.

Looking ahead to 2026, we have two clear goals: to continue attracting high-quality contributions, and to expand our readership.

To celebrate the wonderful writing published on the site, each quarter we will select a winning story from those that appeared during the previous three months. The chosen writer will receive an Amazon gift card worth £150. Quarterly winners will be announced on or around the following dates:

• 31 March 2026
• 30 June 2026
• 30 September 2026
• 31 December 2026

At the end of 2026, we will also award a £100 voucher to the artist of our favourite cartoon published during the year.

To help grow our readership, we will be strengthening our social media presence – particularly on Instagram, which is proving to be an increasingly effective platform for literary sites. We have also added sharing buttons to our stories and essays, and we hope you will use them to pass along pieces to others.

We look forward to working with many more talented and funny women in the year ahead, and, of course, to bringing more smiles (or laughs!) to your day.
